"Bespoke data capture" does what it says. It is a customisable remote data capture system.

Who would need it?
Anyone who is running events exhibitions model launches etc.

What does it do?
Say you are a manufacturer with multiple resellers and you are going to have an event where your resellers will mail their customer base to attend (an example of this would be a test drive day).

When you arrive at the venue and start up your registration computers you are given the option to administer the application. This is basically customising it for the event. You can enter the event name, the venue but most importantly you can enter the names of the dealers/resellers whose clients will be attending. This will automatically trigger the system to create individual databases for each dealers/resellers.

You can also choose other areas to administer dependant on your particular field of interest for example models in a particular range.

Once you have finished the administration you simply hit submit to start the user application.

The user application can be anything. A competition, disclaimer for a test drive, request for more information or a demonstration. But the one thing they will all have in common is that they will make the user leave key information, which will then be fed, into the database. The user will be asked to specify which dealer/reseller invited them this makes sure that the data goes to the correct database. At the end of the event the individual database files can be given to the dealer/reseller and the complete database can go to the manufacturer. The database files can be imported into any database or spreadsheet application.
